Hi, my name is LaTanya Shuler. I am a native of South Carolina. South Carolina is a great place to live. I graduated from Benedict College with a B.A. Degree in Education. Go BC Tigers! Being a firm believer in education, I enrolled and graduated with a Masters Degree in Elementary Counseling from the University of South Carolina! Go Gamecocks! Teaching is my passion and love. I am truly blessed to have such a rewarding job. I have been teaching for 13 years. This is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten at North Springs Elementary School. This is such a wonderful and inquisitive age to teach. There’s never a dull day in the life of a kindergartner.

I am married to my very best friend, Travis, and we have two wonderful sons. I am actively involved in my church and my boys sporting events. As a soccer and basketball mom, I spend a lot of time meeting new families. This is always so much fun!

Our family enjoys spending time with each other. We take short trips and vacations year round. I enjoy traveling, reading, and shooting basketball.
