About Mrs. Harding: Being a 3rd generation musician, Mrs. Harding has taught elementary music for 10 years.  She’s been an oboist (woodwind family) for 36 years.  And somewhere in there she’s run an opera company, taught recording engineering classes & worked at a music store or two.  There are 22 professional musicians in her family, including 13 certified music teachers.  Her favorite style of music is jazz, even though she plays mostly classical music herself.  Her husband, Tayloe, is the Dean of Music at USC, step-son Chase plays euphonium in the SV Symphonic Band & Spring Valley Viking Marching band, daughter Mimi plays flute at ELWright MS band & daughter Grace studies viola at the USC String Program.  She is the only honor graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston (a jazz & rock school) who is also Orff Level I certified.  What instrument will you play?
